The miniature on folio 12v is considered a masterpiece of European Romanesque miniature.

Its cycle based on the Genesis contains a unique and spectacular iconographic programme.

Another exceptional miniature is The Epiphany, a theme that used to be very typical of the Hispanic tradition, conceived here in a totally original manner.

On parchment of a noble format measuring 370 x 530 mm. This edition contains, in a luxury box, an exact replica of the 33 most representative folios, many of them with golden ornamentation, and two fragments discovered in the monastery of Las Huelgas Reales in Burgos. It includes a volume of studies by Joaquín Yarza Luaces, Professor of Medieval Art History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and Manuel Zabalza Duque, Professor of Palaeography and Diplomacy at the Associated Centre, UNED.
